Grades 1–4

A personal, future-focused education that supports children as they grow in curiosity, independence, and their individual development.

What Does the heal.thy Curriculum Offer?

The heal.thy Curriculum combines academic foundations with personal development and future-ready skills. Through structured subject instruction, students build the knowledge and skills they need to understand complex ideas. Through interdisciplinary project learning, they connect what they learn, explore meaningful real-world questions, and learn to use AI and digital tools thoughtfully and responsibly.

At the same time, students develop self-awareness, communication, creativity, independent thinking, sound judgment, and personal responsibility. The goal is not simply to prepare students to work with technology, but to help them remain confident, thoughtful, and connected individuals in a rapidly changing world.

Academic learning, human development, and technological understanding come together to create an education that supports each student’s unique path.

How Is the Curriculum Implemented in heal.thy Primary?

Project-Based Learning

Children’s interests and questions provide an important starting point for our projects. Depending on the topic, English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies, Music, Creative Arts, and age-appropriate digital tools are connected.

Projects may take shape as stories, models, artworks, games, short films, simple digital creations, or solutions to everyday challenges. Children ask questions, imagine possibilities, test ideas, and share what they create.

Through this process, they learn how knowledge connects, how ideas grow through collaboration and feedback, and how creativity, curiosity, and the responsible use of technology can turn learning into something meaningful.

Spanish

Spanish is introduced through age-appropriate language experiences in Primary. The focus is on curiosity, listening, speaking, and everyday communication, creating a positive foundation for continued language learning in the later grades.

Awareness & Personal Development

Questions like these accompany children throughout the school day:

  • What makes me happy?
  • How do I respond to success and setbacks?
  • How can I notice and express my feelings?
  • What is mindfulness?
  • How do my thoughts and words influence my actions?
  • How can I treat others fairly and respectfully?

These themes are explored in age-appropriate, real-life contexts. Children learn to understand themselves more clearly, approach challenges with greater awareness, and take responsibility for their actions.

Individual Growth & Potential

Every child learns differently. That is why we pay attention to different interests, strengths, needs, and learning paths.

Children receive space to discover their abilities, develop their own approaches to solving problems, and gradually take greater responsibility for their learning. Our goal is to create an environment in which children feel safe, ask questions, and continue to grow without unnecessary pressure to perform.

Daily Schedule

The shared morning takes place in a virtual classroom. Children learn live with their teachers and classmates, work together on projects, and receive time for individual learning processes.

9:00–9:30 a.m.

Morning welcome, check-in, and introduction to the learning and work period

9:30–11:30 a.m.

Learning and work period with project-based learning, subject instruction, collaboration, and individual practice

11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Closing circle, presentations, and a preview of the next steps

Learning does not end when the shared morning comes to a close. Children take ideas and age-appropriate tasks with them so they can continue exploring and deepening their learning in the afternoon.

Learning also continues beyond the school day through the heal.thy Clubs. Students from all schools and countries can explore shared interests, develop new skills, and connect with peers around the world.

Every student enrolled in heal.thy SCHOOL may choose one club at no additional cost.

Instruction is generally scheduled in the Central European Time Zone. Classes for other time zones may be established when there is sufficient demand.
